Ralph Blatz Cazares

Ralph B Cazares, currently of Bosque Farms, NM passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023.
He was born on January 15, 1933, in Los Angeles CA. He attended High School in Bakersfield, CA. After high school he attended Bakersfield College and enrolled in Naval flight school. During his 23 years as a Naval Aviator, which included various combat missions, he was also involved in flying in and out of Antarctica as part of Operation Deep Freeze. He then became a flight instructor before retiring in 1975. After retiring from the N avy, he returned to college and received a PHD in Sociology and took on a second career, becoming a college Professor at Bakersfield College.
Ralph is preceded in death, by his parents Nick and Hope Cazares and his older Brother George Cazares.
He is survived by his daughter, Renee Neill (Spouse Shawn Neill), and Son, Jerry Cazares (Spouse Donna Cazares), 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery Friday, November 3rd, 2023, at 10am.
