Ramon Andrade

Ramon Andrade, life-long resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2022 at the age of 68.

Ramon is survived by his wife Teresa of 51 years. His four children, son Jesus Ramon Andrade and girlfriend Jessica, daughter Maria Castellano and husband Danny, daughter Amanda Andrade and husband Edgar, son Alejandro Andrade and girlfriend Nicole. His grandchildren, Anyssa, Andres, Analiya Gurule and Alesandro Hernandez. Jacob and Deandra Andrade. Daniel and Jaden Castellano. Isaiah, Callista and Alejandro Andrade. His great granddaughter Jayla, who is making her way into the world this coming July. His beloved two nieces, who he loved like daughters, Berenice Gonzalez and daughter Anahi Gonzalez, Arlin Gonzalez and son Santiago Gonzalez. He is also survived by his siblings, brothers Gaspar and Tobias Andrade and sister Lilia Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents Maria and Isabel Andrade.

Ramon was born on September 18, 1953 in Albuquerque NM. He retired from the City of Albuquerque, where he worked as a Building Inspector and Chief Investigator. Prior to working for the City of Albuquerque he was a Project Manager for Carroll Ventures Construction.

Ramon had many friends and was always a loving and helpful person, who would lend a helping hand at any time. He built his beautiful home and was a man of many talents. He was a self taught musician. He could fix a vehicle, weld, was an amazing gardener, a contractor, just to name a few. He took great pride in having one of the most beautiful yards on the street. Overall, he was a very knowledgeable man and one of the hardest workers.

He was a devoted father and grandfather who loved nothing more than to spend time with family. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports and teaching them life lessons. Everyone he met felt loved from his kindness and generosity and was always the life of the party with his crazy dancing skills and sense of humor!

Of all the things, first and foremost, he was husband to Teresa, his wife and partner of 54 years. Nothing brought him more joy than singing, dancing and traveling with his love. They both were active members of Holy Family Catholic Church for many years. They did everything together and were regarded as one of the greatest couples who loved and adored each other.

Papá, as he was affectionately referred to by all, will be greatly missed.
