Raymond Aragon Obituary

Raymond A Aragon, 55, of Belen New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly on August 29th.
Raymond went to Belen High School where he found out his passion was not for school. He
went on to become a very proud marine where he was stationed at Camp Pendleton. After
serving as a marine he came back to work with his father, Richard Aragon, who he loved dearly
and grew his passion for carpentry and garage doors. Soon after he married Yolanda and had
children of his own. He had three girls and to whomever knew him referred to them as his
"boys". This is when he became the world's best dad.
He loved going hunting, fishing, or hiking with his friends and "boys". Raymond was a stubborn
man who loved his daughters more than anyone will ever know. Raymond made sure to talk
about his "boys" wherever he went and to everybody he met. Raymond had two very proud
moments in his life: The first was becoming a father and the second was becoming a
grandfather. He told his "boys" that he would never change anything about his life because he
had them. He also loved to be with his siblings and his nieces/nephews. Raymond was a rough
man on the outside but was soft at heart and would do anything for the people that he loved.
Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Richard Aragon. He is survived by his 3
daughters (aka "boys") Shalene, Arielle and Monique. His 3 grandchildren, Brielle, Landon,
and the baby that is going to be arriving within the next few weeks who will be named after
his/her Pampa. Mothers Dolores Chavez and Mary Aragon. Brothers: Emmanuel, Israel,
Christopher and Dallas. Sisters: Sylvia, Theresa, Cindy, and Reyna and many nieces and
nephews.
The visitation will be held on Monday at 0930 with the mass immediately following. Raymond
will be buried at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with military honors at a later date.
