Reyes Moreno

October 5, 1975 - April 24, 2022

Reyes Moreno of Rio Communities, NM, was born in Belen, NM, on October 5, 1975 at the old hospital in Belen. Reyes is survived by parents Jerry and Priscilla Barela of Belen; two brothers, Jerry Barela and Samuel Barela. Reyes also leaves behind a wife, Alison, of 20 years. Reyes had 4 children that he was incredibly proud of, Christopher Saitta, Reyes Moreno Jr, and Jeremiah Moreno, all of Rio Communities, also, one daughter, Emma Sutfin and husband Chase of Los Lunas. Reyes had 3 grandkids that he loved very much. Axle, Alison, and Ryder. As well as many other family members as he came from a very large family. Reyes grew up in Belen and was the Wastewater Director at the City of Belen where had worked for the past 10 years. Reyes loved his job and what he did for a living and working with his friends/coworkers he spent every day with at the plant. Reyes volunteered for many years when his kids were young in all their sports activities including coaching and team dad. Reyes enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time at the family property in the Manzano Mountains. Anyone who knew him knew his love for square body Chevys and he spent much of his free time working on Chevy projects. Reyes could fix anything and if he didn’t know how he would figure it out. Reyes loved spending time with his family and his family meant everything to him as did he to them. Reyes will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and coworkers. The family would like to thank everyone for their support. Especially all the employees at the City of Belen who have went above and beyond.
