Rita Josephine Gallegos

Rita was born on April 7,1951, a resident of Peralta, New Mexico passed away on October 6, 2021 at the age of 70. Our mother enjoyed dancing, bingo, casino, rodeos and family gatherings. She loved her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Rita preceded in death by her mother and father Martin, Sarah Gallegos; brother's, Frank Gallegos; Sister's Patricia Collier; Daughter Renee Jernigan; Grandson Jarred Jones. Survived by son Robbie, Tracy Profitt, Galen Dixon and Sharon Miera, Lonnie Jernigan; daughter Alicia, Ruben Dominguez; sister, Katie Trujillo and Sarah Grossman: brothers Joe Gallegos, Jeff Gallegos, David Gallegos; grandchildren Christopher Chavez, Desiree Chavez, Chantelle Chavez, Ashley Lucero, Andoquio Lucero, Thomas Dixon, Nichole Jones, Joseph Dixon, Katelynn Jones, Cody Jernigan, Hannah Dixon, Emma Dominguez; Great grandchildren Tommie Martinez, Andoquio Lucero, Augustine Chavez, Alexzander Lucero, Katalina Chavez, Lilith Wimberly. She will be truly missed and was truly loved. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Bosque Farms (1635 Bosque Farms Blvd, Bosque Farms, NM 87068).
