Rita (Tenorio) Sisneros

Rita Sisneros, 96, of Belen, New Mexico, passed away on October 4, 2021 at the Odelia Health Facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rita was a proud Belen resident and a member of the Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Rita is preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Sisneros; son, Pete Sisneros, and grandsons, Pete and Christopher Sisneros. She is survived by her two sons, Richard Sisneros (Carol), Larry Sisneros (Lynn); four grandchildren, Rick Sisneros, Denise Sisneros, Sandra Zimmerman (Jason), and April Lerma (Javier); 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; her four sisters, Terry Lovato (Avenlino) of Mountainair, Mary Padilla of Belen, Josie Buendabenta of Bernalillo, and her brother, Robert Tenorio. Rita also leaves behind her 32-year-old feathered friend, Peewee who is now in the loving care of Richard and his family.
