Robert Arthur McCants (August 6th 1950-May 29th 2022) On May 29th 2022, Robert Arthur McCants Sr, loving father, lost his fight to cancer and passed away at the age of 71. Robert was born on August 6th 1950, in Friona Texas to Hilma Jean McCants (Dawkins) and John Arthur McCants. Robert is survived by four children, Lewanna and spouse Wayne, Robert Jr, Billy, Amanda and her spouse Daniel; twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry and spouse Pam, and John and spouse Jody, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends. He served in the United States Air Force for ten years, three months, and twenty-two days. He was a plumber for all of his adult life. He loved to play crossword scratchers, watch western movies, and listen to music. He will be truly loved and remembered by all who knew him. He did not want a normal funeral he just wanted family and friends to gather and have a BBQ to celebrate his life.
