Robert "Bob" Samuel Chavez Jr., 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on April 29, 2026. Born on December 24, 1958, in Denver, Colorado, Bob lived a life marked by determination, charisma, humor, and deep love for his family.
Robert built a successful career as a Regional Manager for Allsups Convenience Stores. He took tremendous pride in being a businessman and constantly challenged himself to be better than he was the day before. He had a commanding presence and a personality that naturally drew people toward him. Whether in business or in everyday life, Bob knew how to lead a room, make people laugh, and leave a lasting impression. Above all else, Bob loved being a husband, father, and dog dad. His family was at the center of his life. After retirement, he found peace and joy in fishing, especially catfishing. He loved the thrill of the fight and the quiet moments spent outdoors.
Bob will be remembered for his strength, ambition, larger-than-life personality, and the love he gave so freely to those closest to him. His absence leaves a tremendous void, but his memory and spirit will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Aurora Chavez, who passed away on November 10, 2023. Their bond was one built on love, loyalty, and family, and there is comfort in knowing they are together again.
He is survived by his children: daughter Jessica Teague and her husband Isaac Teague; son Jacob Chavez and Kari Fox; and son Robert Chavez III. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Rosinda Chavez; his sisters, Laurie Valdez and husband Jeff Valdez, and Georgi Chavez and wife Keely Chavez; his brother, Aaron Chavez and spouse Agiola; as well as nieces Melanie and Christina Valdez and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
