Rose (Aragon) Aragon

Rose Aragon, age 82, of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at her home on January 20, 2023, surrounded by her devoted family. Rose was born on November 30, 1940 to Ramon and Beatrice Aragon. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Bobby Aragon, Belia Baca, Rudolpha Gomez, Celine Aragon and Frances Chavez. Her nephews Jonathan Madrid and baby Louis Chavez. She is survived by her siblings Andrew Aragon, Vivian Torres and Cecilia (Dave) Abbotts. She is also survived by all her very special nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Rose was a beautiful faithful soul who loved her family immensely. Throughout her life she always made time to visit family and friends. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed going on camping adventures with her best friend Adela. She enjoyed collecting beautiful rocks and going on very long rides. She always saw the beauty in nature and literally loved to stop and smell the roses.
She was a perfect example of Jesus' love. She was a caregiver throughout her life and spent many dedicated years providing care and building a wonderful friendship with Chad, whom she loved dearly. She was loved by everyone who knew her and her witty sense of humor will be forever missed. She loved all her nieces and nephews and had a special relationship with each and every one of them. She was everyone's Auntie! All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. A Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m., and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
