Rosela A Archuleta

Rosela A. Archuleta, passed away peacefully Thursday December 19, 2024 in Albuquerque, NM.
She was born September 6, 1936, in Los Lunas, NM, beloved daughter to Alfredo Tafoya and Adela Gauna Tafoya. She was the fourth of eight children and was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Alfredo, Abel, Mary, Angelina, Quela, and son, Leonardo. She is survived by her brother Ray Tafoya, sister Liz Maestas and sister in law Dorothy Tafoya. She is also survived by her sons Roberto (Melecita), Gilbert (Nancy), Agustin (Monique); as well as her 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Rosela was a devoted Christian who read the Bible regularly and looked forward to the weekly visits with her Minister. A lifelong resident of Los Lunas, Rosela enjoyed playing bingo and making crafts at the senior citizens center in Los Lunas. During her younger years she was very active in softball and bowling. She enjoyed telling her grandchildren about her sports achievements and the recognition she received for making toys and stuffed animals for kids in the hospitals.

Memorial services and interment will be held at a later date.
