Roy is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Proctor; father, Roy Proctor, Sr; brothers, David Proctor and Clarence Thompson.

He is survived by sons, Chris Proctor, and Benjamin Horton; daughter, Sarah Burks, and Leandra Bilbrey; sisters, Mary Aragon and Roberta Thomas; brother, James Proctor; granddaughters, Melanie and Lydia Proctor.
