Rumaldo Garcia, age 62, a resident of Casa Colorada, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Rumaldo was a true pillar of strength and unwavering love. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom, faith and countless memories. He was a devout Catholic; his faith was everything and God was number one! He was a devoted husband, father and grandpa. Anyone who knew him became part of our family and his love and faith touched anyone who shook his hand. He was a longtime mechanic at Solo Cup as well as a truck driver. He enjoyed working with concrete, horses and anything else that kept his hand busy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and picking pinon every year; he was always living life to the fullest. Rumaldo was very involved with his grandsons, Kristian and Kaiden, they were his world. You could always spot him at games, the loudest in the stands, cheering on the team and uplifting their courage and strength to play better and win. He was also very loved by his nieces and nephews and had many nicknames, such as Uncle Bulla, The Big Guy and Uncle. He loved his sisters and brothers very much; they were his world as well and he talked with them daily! When Rumaldo couldn't make it to Mass, his sister Nancy would send daily readings, which Rumaldo embraced and shared with whoever he thought needed them at the time. He was a true man of God and will be terribly missed by so many! His legacy will carry on through his family, and we will make him proud. "Love you, Dad; until we meet again!"
Rumaldo was preceded in death by his parents, Tobias Garcia and Mary Fajardo Garcia. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Garcia; son, Jason Garcia; daughter, Kimberly Garcia; grandsons, Kristian and Kaiden Garcia; sisters, Donna Hoffman and husband, David, Nancy Garcia-Grabler and Husband, Gerard; brother, Tobias Garcia and wife, Yvette and many nieces nephews, cousins, aunts uncles and friends.
