Shirley Elaine (Teare) Culver

Shirley E. Culver, passed away, surround by her family at the gracious age of 92 on Thursday, November 12, 2020. She graduated from Albuquerque High school where she met Edward Culver whom she later married. She was a secretary at UNM for many years and retired from that institution in 2000. She lived in Albuquerque until 2008, when she moved to Los Lunas to be closer to her family. She attended Peralta United Methodist Church and enjoyed time with the Crafty Ladies. She was an accomplished artist and shared her art with many family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Hortense Teare, her former husband Edward Allen Culver and her daughter-in-law Donna Culver. She is survived by her three sons Edward A. Jr, George, and Gregory Culver; her daughter-in-laws Lisa and Joan Culver, her 6 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
