Theresa Alice (Chavira) Chavira

Theresa Alice Chavira, age 65, of Los Lunas, NM, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025. She was born on November 24, 1959, in Belen, NM, to Cito and Jenny Chavira. Theresa was a devoted mother, daughter, nana, sister, aunt, and friend, known for her kind heart, warm spirit, and unwavering support for those she loved. She dedicated her life to her grandkids and family, touching the lives of many with her generosity and compassion.

Theresa retired from Sandia National Laboratories after 35 years of dedicated service. In addition to her career, she was an active member of Calvary Chapel New Harvest. She was deeply committed to her faith.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Romero Jr., grandson Isaiah, granddaughter Analiyah, sister Geraldine (Chavira) Marquardt, and brother Henry (Mary) Chavira. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Henry Chavira Jr., Celina (Juan) Garcia, Jamie-Rae Marquardt, Jennie (Brandon) Kanning, Jared Marquardt, Lorena (Tristin) Baca, Loretta Chavira, and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jenny Chavira.

Theresa will be deeply missed, but her love, kindness, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
