Vernon Davis, age 72, a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away on November 7, 2025.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, Vernon came to New Mexico in the 70s. He loved going to yard sales and he was always accompanied by his beloved dog, Tessa. He spent six years in the Air Force working as an airplane mechanic. He also worked as a millwright and later became a safety manager traveling to various construction sites across the country.
He leaves behind his wife Jo, two sons Everette and Jeffery, as well as two granddaughters and four sisters Lorraine Claxton, Virginia Best, Mary Davis, and Linda Alexander. A memorial will be held in Charleston, South Carolina.
