Vitalia Peralta Obituary

Avitalia (Vitalia) Maria T. Anaya Peralta, 90, passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 27, 2022 of natural causes. Vitalia was born in La Joya, on July 16, 1931 to Cornelio and Paublita (Tafoya) Peralta. She is survived by her children of  Manuel Anaya (deceased):  Benny Anaya and wife, Rosie; Adela Garcia and husband, Eddie Garcia; Mary Rose Barreras and husband, Luis D. Barreras, Barbara Gonzales and husband, Richard Gonzales; and Andrew Anaya and family.  She is also survived by her children of Juan Peralta (deceased):  Angela Peralta Gonzales and husband, Larry Gonzales; Pauline Peralta and family; Kathy Peralta and husband Pat Beach; Leroy Peralta and Partner, George; Juanita Sadosuk and husband Paul Sadosuk; James Peralta and family, Jeffery Peralta and wife, Tracy; her sister Lorraine Peralta of Socorro; and her many descendants; her 12 surviving children and 3 deceased, 31 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 16 great, great grandchildren, 109 total. Vitalia is preceded in death by her children: Jesse Peralta, Johnny Peralta and David Peralta; her brothers, Theodoro Peralta and Eluvie Peralta and her sisters, Rosela Peralta, Valentina Peralta Burke and Prescilla Peralta. She will meet in heaven her grandchildren Richie Gonzales and Issac Sadosuk and great-great grandchild, Jeremiah Jojola.  Vitalia's dad, Cornelio passed  away early in life leaving her mom, Doña Paublita Tafoya Peralta to raise not only her children but also Vitalia's deceased sibling's children and they were considered her brothers and sisters in the household:  Connie Burke Peralta (Terry), Raymond Peralta (Ester), Ernie Peralta, Patsy Peralta Baca (Eddie) and newly found nephew, Orlando Gurule (Velma). Vitalia was a homemaker during her married life. Her joy was making homemade tortillas, fresh beans and roasting and peeling yellow hot chiles and making her famous "Chile Güerrito”.  She cooked supper from scratch to a full house many a day, and it was her way to say, "I love all of you".  Later in life, she enjoyed going to the casinos with friends and family.  And she loved her sweets! Services for Vitalia will take place on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel beginning with a visitation. A Prayer Service will follow at 11:00 am. Vitalia will then be laid to rest at the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery on Blue Canyon Road in Socorro, New Mexico following the services. Pallbearers are:  Benny Anaya, Leroy Peralta, James Peralta, Jeffery Peralta, Mackie Gonzales, Gabriel Gonzales, Christopher Dyslin, Manuel Barreras.  Honorary Pallbearers are : “Vitalia’s Grandchildren.” Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
