Wilfred Brady Obituary

Wilfred Armando Brady, son of Mary Archuleta Nieto and Wilfred V. Brady Sr., is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Angie Brady. His oldest daughter who he wished to have seen and never stopped loving Miranda. His oldest son who he was fortunate to reconnect with and get to know more, Phillip and his partner Marylou and 3 grandchildren who he never got to meet.  His son Armando Brady who he loved very much and was very proud of his wife Erin Brady and his grandsons who he very much adored Colin Warren and Ethan Brady. His daughter Crystal Brady and her fiance, David Jones who he loved very much. He and David had a very special connection and enjoyed many conversations and mischievous moments together.  He is also survived by his sister Patsy Marquez and her Husband Lee, Brother Abel Brady and Wife Tina, Brother Raymond Brady, Sister Monica Chapa, Sister Georgia Nieto and Partner Tony, Vicky Olmedo and Husband Joe, Marie Nieto, Josie Nieto and Brother Steven Nieto. He is also survived by his beloved wife's family who treated and loved him as a true brother. He has many nephews, nieces and godchildren that he loved very much. He has so many cousins that he was so very close to and loved all the times he spent with them. He would recount the cherished memories of the "good ole days”, telling the stories over and over again, never getting old. He was a very smart and talented man. Who would have known he would end up working in dentistry with his most favorite friend Dr. Brettner. Even after retiring Dr. Brettner and dad would find themselves in a bit of mischief until Mariam, Dr. Brettner's sweet wife reins them in. They have been close friends since they met and have remained that way to this day. Thank you Dr. Brettner for believing in him and encouraging him. My brother said it well when he wrote: I am at a loss for words. I guess I was just figuring that you would come though this just like everything else you endured during your lifetime. Dad, you are the strongest person I have ever known! I hope that I can be as strong as you for Mom, Crystal and anyone else that needs me during this difficult time. I found this quote and thought it was appropriate. You will lose someone you can’t live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn’t seal back up. And you come through. It’s like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly — that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp. — Anne Lamott I love that you are now free from a body that was holding you back for so long. Please watch over, guide us and most of all give us strength especially Mom she really could use some right now. Crystal, David and I promise to take care of her the best we can. Know that you will be missed very much by so many people who loved and cherished the time they spent with you.  From now on every Lego set the boys and I build will be in your honor and we hope you enjoy watching us do them. Most of all I just want to thank you for being my dad and always loving me the best you could. I miss and love you Dad! We will rejoice as a family that you are now free and can live with a whole body and visit all our loved ones who went before us. Like you used to do when you could drive and cruise the streets here. We can all imagine you in heaven cruising with Frankie visiting Auntie Vigie, Tia Nifa, my Nina and Nino Linda and Eddy Vigil and Tia Lena. Hanging out with Billy Brady, Dennie and Pelon. Even picking pinon with Uncle Johnny and Auntie Dolores. Just know that you will be missed by so many people who love you! We will all do our best to take good care of mom. We love you Daddy!
